Important Update: SpexiGeo Support Ending March 31, 2026

We’d like to inform our valued users that SpexiGeo will reach its end of life on March 31, 2026. After this date, the platform will no longer be supported or maintained.

Over the past several years, SpexiGeo has played an important role in helping our users access, create, and manage drone-based data . However, as our technology and vision have evolved, we’ve built a new generation of products that deliver far more powerful capabilities and better performance.

Our latest platform, Spexi is fully integrated with the LayerDrone Network — a decentralized Earth imagery network that enables faster, more scalable, and higher-quality geospatial data collection. By transitioning to Spexi, users can benefit from:

  • Real-time access to fresh, high-resolution imagery captured by the LayerDrone network.

  • Expanded global coverage powered by a growing network of decentralized drone operators.

  • Advanced 3D data products, including orthomosaics, point clouds, and Gaussian splats.

  • Improved performance and reliability, backed by a modern infrastructure designed for scale.

We encourage all users to begin transitioning to Spexi to take advantage of these new capabilities and access to geospatial data services and products.

If you have any questions or need assistance during the transition, please reach out to our team at support@spexi.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why is SpexiGeo being discontinued?
SpexiGeo was built on older technology that no longer supports the scale and performance we aim to deliver. We’ve developed the new Spexi platform, integrated with the LayerDrone Network, to provide faster, more powerful, and globally connected geospatial data solutions.

2. What will happen after March 31, 2026?
After this date, SpexiGeo will no longer receive updates, technical support, or maintenance. Access to the platform and its services may be discontinued shortly thereafter.

3. How do I transition to the new Spexi platform?
You can create a new account on spexi.com and contact support@spexi.com for assistance with migrating your workflows or data to the new platform. Our team will help ensure a smooth transition.

4. What are the benefits of using Spexi with the LayerDrone Network?
The new platform offers real-time access to high-resolution imagery, broader coverage from a decentralized drone network, and advanced 3D data outputs such as orthomosaics and point clouds — all delivered faster and more efficiently than before.

5. Can I still access my historical SpexiGeo data?
Yes. You’ll be able to access and export your existing data before support ends. We recommend downloading any important datasets prior to March 31, 2026, as data availability cannot be guaranteed after that date.
